Voice Your Objections

I am reposting a post from one of the adoption groups I am a member of. I thought it was worth using my blog to help spread the word about a new movie coming out called Orphan. The Synopsis is:

The tragic loss of their unborn child has devastated Kate and John, taking a toll on both their marriage and Kate’s fragile psyche as she is plagued by nightmares and haunted by demons from her past. Struggling to regain some semblance of normalcy in their lives, the couple decides to adopt another child. At the local orphanage, both John and Kate find themselves strangely drawn to a young girl named Esther. Almost as soon as they welcome Esther into their home, however, an alarming series of events begins to unfold, leading Kate to believe that there’s something wrong with Esther — this seemingly angelic little girl is not what she appears to be. Concerned for the safety of her family, Kate tries to get John and others to see past Esther’s sweet facade. But her warnings go unheeded until it may be too late… for everyone.

I really believe that some movies should never be made and viewed by audiences. This is one such Movie.

Someone’s done alot of homework! If you’re up for ‘voicing’ your objection to the movie “Orphan” here are some suggestions and contact information. Look closely at the links to board members…. not so sure they’re complete.

Here is the follow up to the last email regarding the Orphan Movie. This is where we need to write.

First DON’T support the film and DO tell others not to see the film. If they don’t make any money then these movies will not continue.

Second, write to the emails and addresses below.

Third, talk to your local movie theater and tell them not to support the film. If they do plan a protest.

Finally, pray the Lord would not allow this negative press to affect the lives of older children waiting to be adopted.
