Now for something a little more edifying…

I think I need to move the focus from the downright depressing to the joyful and rewarding.

My daughters smile will do it for me everytime.

Lily

I love her so much and she is a joy to mother.

DLF No Angel and subsequent posts on discussion

Yesterday I was quite bemused to find a scathing anti adoption article sent out to my inbox by an Adoption Support Group I am a member of. Odd if you ask me… What is that Adoption Support Groups agenda?

Anyway you can read the article above and also read my comments and subsequent replies here and here.

Unfortunately it seems only the bitter and twisted have the public ear. Tragic and sad as some people’s experiences are they can not and should not cloud the needs of the kids needing families.

‘Adopted’ the Movie

A group of us Orphan Angel ‘peeps’ and supporters are gathering tomorrow night to catch up and discuss adoption plus watch this movie (trailer below)

Wow! If I can get through the movie without bawling my eyes out, it will be a miracle!!

The point where the adult adoptee says “You only got her because someone else abandoned her, and she knows this from a younger age than you can imagine..’ Whoa…hard truths.
